I inherited my sisters"STELLA" guitar when I was 17-18. I learned 3 or 4 chords and didn't do much for 4-5 years.  I met a guy at the local music store that played 5 string banjo when I was 24 and he offered to teach me how to play the Banjo.  I got the banjo and took one lesson and decided I needed to stick with the Guitar.

I played bluegrass for about 10 years and basically quit playing until I got to Sun City and discovered the Front Porch Pickers. I have really enjoyed the friends I met there and being able to play music again. I discovered quickly that while I was still a legend in my own mind my body had other ideas.  I can't play like I did when I was young but I have more fun today.

Wednesday is the highlight of the week for me.
